After a week inside this apartment, I finally went to the doctor and, apparently, all is well. It's quite funny, but I actually feel weird no longer having my tonsils (not that I'll miss them in the least).

Very profitable week, culturally speaking. Watched less movies than I thought I would, but definitely read more than I ever did in a week (when it came to number of books per day).

Thank you everyone that payed a visit ([ profile] magnun, [ profile] deadcinderella, [ profile] wendybarrie_, [ profile] _isarma_, [ profile] porn_kid, and [ profile] christycorr [ profile] lian_moony), all of those that meant to, but couldn't for some reason ([ profile] dehds and [ profile] x_disorder_x, especially), and all the others that wished me luck and the like.

On side note, I've found this at [ profile] macintosh. All the credits to [ profile] gmajor.

Quite Funny. *grins*

See you people in Rio.

Bloody tonsils - part II.

Just a quick update to tell you people that I'm alive, besides the pain in my throat. I was liberated from the hospital this morning.

Doing a lot of reading and resting, which is great for me. Still waiting for visits and ice cream. *grins*

Can't stay much on the computer, for I got to rest. Thank you all for the support, and I hope to be back soon.

Bye bye tonsils.

Well, here I go. Surgery tomorrow, at dawn. One week in São Paulo hoping my friends will visit me reading, watching movies and eating strawberry ice cream.

Wish me luck. *sulks*

Here we go again.

Going to São Paulo in a few hours to see friends, a lot of movies, and take care of things. Be back on the 26th.

In case anyone is wondering, I did get better. Still on antibiotics for some time, though.

So I yesterday ended up in the hospital because of my stupid thorat and have no idea when I will be able to go to São Paulo. Getting better, though, so no need to worry. I will try to travel as soon as possible, so, good people of São Paulo, have faith! *grins*

Meanwhile, I was going through my Photoblog archives (I miss those times so badly --bloody Belgians) to find some pics for [ profile] anokam and decided to make a post with some pictures since I've never did that here. Some of them are more than one year old, though.

Anyways. Have fun, kids.

Just take my picture )

You like bowling, don't you, Montag?

If you don't want a man unhappy politically, don't give him two sides to a question to worry him; give him one. Better yet, give him none. If the government is inefficient, topheavy, and tax-mad, better it be all those than that people worry over it. Peace, Montag. Give the people contests they win by remembering the words to more popular songs or the names of state capitals or how much corn Iowa grew last year. Cram them full of noncombustible data, chock them so damned full of 'facts' they feel stuffed, but absolutely 'brilliant' with information. Then they'll feel like they're thinking, they'll get a sense of motion without moving. And they'll be happy, because facts of that sort don't change. Don't give them any slippery stuff like philosophy or sociology to tie things up with. That way lies melancholy.
