So.
Friday is a sacred day for me. It's that day that you leave school and think: Three whole days before I set foot in this place again. And my friday was been particularly good until lunch time.
All the classes were great, and we had math exam on the last lesson, so I left school about 30 minutes early. Took a bus. It was arranged for me to meet either Vika, Never, Lunna and Meea or Kill. I tried to talk to all of them. Lunna said she wasn't feeling well. Killer said she couldn't see me today because her mom didn't let her go out. Never was going to leave his house only around 15h. And Meea was asleep.
Then, my loyal friend Vika called.
On my "list of things to do" one was very important: Recharge my bus pass. The thing was: Our excellent Mayor, José Serra, decided to raise the price of the bus from R$1,70 to R$2,00. If we recharged the bus pass until friday, we would pay the first price until april. I have a student bus pass, with which I pay half, so, I would instead of spending R$1,00 only spend R$0,85! That would give me a profit of about R$8,00 since I have the rights for 50 passes per month.
Anyway.
I told Vika about that, and he didn't know the deadline was yesterday. So, he called his mother and she told him to get R$50,00 from me and that she'd pay me later (to lend money she loves me, but when I'm his "lesbian friend" she hates me *sigh* I don't get that woman).
We were really hungry and I bought two yakissobas on the street for R$4,00 each! It was specially good. Then our mission was to find a Lottery place to recharge the bus pass and we would be free to go home and watch the extended version of The Return of the King! ^^
The problem was: There was a giant (and I mean it) queue on every single Lottery in the city. Apparently (and obviously) everyone had the same incredible idea that we both did. I told Vika in a completely exaggerated way that I would not stand in the sun for two hours for just eight bucks. He said his mother would kill him if he didn't do that today. So, I agreed. What could I do anyway?
Guess what? In the end it was two hours standing in the sun. I can't say it wasn't funny. We talked about a lot of things (usually stupid ones) and between each subject we would say something really nasty about Serra. After about one hour and 30 minutes, the queue started to walk a little faster. When it was my turn...
The bloody system decided to simply stop working. In order not to start crying, me and Vika started to desperately laugh. A woman on the back of the queue begun complaining about the world. I hate stressed people in lines. I mean, c'mon, we are all here! If you complain is not to change anything. I mean, only the fact that we will have to listen to your annoying voice. ><
After half an hour (swear in the name of the Goddess, God, Jesus, Ganesh, Shiva, Chrisna, Parvati... You pick your God) pressing the green button over and over again to confirm the operation, the system finally came to life and we were able to recharge the bus pass! I don't think I have ever heard a sweetest sound in my life then the one of the little machine processing my receipt.
We left the Lottery like prisoners that had just been release from capital punishment. Laughing on the street. It looked like we were drunk, mental, I don't know. All the internal jokes and songs of the day gave life to my latest post on the photoblog.
The day I thought would be the worse friday of my life (it is not very good on your sacred day of the week you waste time in a queue), became the most bizarre and one of the best. Vika for the first time is his life payed my food at Habib's and I even bought a Capricho (I think that I didn't read one in about three years or so) and... Damn, that thing is still rubbish. ><
I was supposed to be at my french test right now, but I woke up feeling terrible. Transfered to tuesday. And I'm home alone for the weekend. >:)
God, I'm hopeless.
And I love it. lol
[EDIT]: Forgot to say. While we were walking back home we passed in front of a Lottery that had about three people in a queue and the system was working correctly. And the worst part is that it was much more near to my house. Well, at least the 2 hour queue made me silly enough to have a good day. ^^
Logging off.
