So in the end I didn't enjoy the International Film Festival as much as I could. I did enjoy it as much as I thought I would, though, for I was sure it wasn't going to be like Rio's. Some of the movies were excellent and I did have a good time, but... Sadly enough I've realized the reason I'm dating ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif) christycorr during the past week.
christycorr during the past week. Which was a big comfort, since that has always been a big puzzle to me.
The final list:
Inside Deep Throat (USA, 2005) - *****
Hard Pill (USA, 2005) - ****
Me, You, and Everyone We Know (USA, 2005) - *****
Familia (Canada, 2004) - ****
Fremde Haut (Germany/Austria, 2005) - ***
Stress, Orgasms and Salvation - S.O.S. (USA, 2005) - **
Tapas (Spain, 2005) - *****
The Fall of Fujimori (USA, 2005) - ***
Free Zone (Israel/Belgium/France/Spain, 2005) - ** and a half
Ono (Polland/Germany/France, 2004) - ***
Broken Flowers (USA, 2005) - *****
Also wanted to see 2046, Wim Wenders' Don't Come Knocking and L'Enfant, but the tickets were sold out two days before, due to the fact that São Paulo people are just too selfish.
Who would say that the Americans would get most of my five stars. Pity you can't see that side of Hollywood outside festivals. *sighs* I wish I lived anywhere near Cannes.
Post Scriptum: Apudne te vel me? *grins*
