The holiday is over. Exhausting, but a very good one. The people that came from Rio are now gone, and we are all going to wait for the next time we can be together again. Here or there. That's what Corpus Christi is all about, right?

On Sunday I met an old friend of mine also from Rio, and we had lunch. She totally freaked out with the city and says she wants to move here, even though this is totally not the city for her. Well, what to do?

I also saw Kill and we celebrated nine months officially together. The one year anniversary is getting closer. :P

Today, after analysing the whole movie guide I decided to see a Japanese movie called Dare mo shiranai (Nobody Knows). Very good one.

Things to do:

-> Recharge bus pass.
-> Write essay.
-> Watch Lost (in 28 minutes).
-> Lunch with The Owl tomorrow.
-> Movies with Vika (The Interpreter).

And mom is coming to visit! Yay!

Dare mo shiranai (Nobody Knowns (Japan, 2004) **** - Very good movie. It was just not excellent because it was too long and slow. Even though it was necessary. The boy that plays Akira (Yûga Yagira) was absolutely marvelous. All the actors were really good. Reminded me a lot of Lilja 4-ever and the whole "forsaking your children" situation.

Re: oh god.
Yeah. That too. Yay! Someone else was reponsible for it too!

You like bowling, don't you, Montag?

If you don't want a man unhappy politically, don't give him two sides to a question to worry him; give him one. Better yet, give him none. If the government is inefficient, topheavy, and tax-mad, better it be all those than that people worry over it. Peace, Montag. Give the people contests they win by remembering the words to more popular songs or the names of state capitals or how much corn Iowa grew last year. Cram them full of noncombustible data, chock them so damned full of 'facts' they feel stuffed, but absolutely 'brilliant' with information. Then they'll feel like they're thinking, they'll get a sense of motion without moving. And they'll be happy, because facts of that sort don't change. Don't give them any slippery stuff like philosophy or sociology to tie things up with. That way lies melancholy.
