You know those days that you wake up and your hair is a total mess and no matter what you do with it it just doesn't get any good at all?
So.
Today wasn't one of those bad hair days. In fact, today I woke up in such an extraordinarily good mood because it was such a beautiful cold day that my hair was in a perfect condition. And I was also feeling really pretty. Good clothes, good hair. Pity I didn't get to see Kill.
Anyway, afterappreciating my beautifulness in the mirror for hours having breakfast and answering the unusual big amount of comments around here, I left to school.
School isfor most teenagers and for me on a bad hair day something that can put you down and make your day worse but today... No. Today was a very good day. Today... I fell in love.
That is right, ladies and gentleman. I fell in love again. But this time... This time it was more special. I fell in love with the husband and lover of one of my friends and of my girlfriend: Mr. Log(this is the part that, if you are older than 16 and don't know who he is, just do yourself a favour and kill yourself with a spoon.
Oh, Log is just so special and so... Perfect. We were introduced today and I believe our relationship will prosper with time. Thanks for letting me share him with you two,
christycorr and Kill. So glad you're not jealous.
After Math I had the joy of receiving the amazing news that I got a 9.5 in Chemistry, and, as I thought it couldn't get any better, I fell in love once more... with the theme of my new essay. I thought I wasn't going to like any of the themes, for they was either concerning Biology, Physics or Math. So I basically put all my hopes in the Math ones.
Bingo!
Financial Math. No, I'm not crazy. I do like it. A lot.
I won't really say what the theme is, but, let's just say it involves Economy (Wow!), numbers (You've got to be kidding me!), Math (NO! Really?!) and... Romans.I want to murder a certain panda so much right now.
After leaving school hopping around the street I tried to get some company for the movies and found out, hours laterafter worrying a lot and calling him names that my gay friend is going to study all week for his exams. Which leads to the conclusion that I'll be out of men for seven days. And, as weird as it may seem, I'll miss it. A lot.
Had street-yakissoba for lunch (long time since I didn't have it. The only problem was that the guy didn't have any hashis. A major flaw in my day. *sighs*), and went to the movies. Afterwards, French class. At AF I got an Asterix book in French(you'd better run if I start hating Obelix and liking the Romans), which is much better to read.
Very, very productive day. *grins*
Casa de Areia (Brasil, 2005) ***** - I was really surprised. I don't really like the whole Northeast of Brazil scenario, but the movie is amazing. And I'm not just saying that because the greatest costume designer in the world was in the film(a.k.a. mommy), and the most gorgeous director of all time were in it. The two Fernandas played remarkably well the parts of mum and daughter and Seu Jorge was excellent. The cinematography was just... wow. I really did regret not going there at least for a week or so to see the shooting.
Der Utergang (a.k.a. Downfall) (Germany/Italy/Austria, 2004) ***** - Amazing movie. Still a little too shocked to say something about it. It was a point of view of the WWII that I had never seen at a film. And the actor that plays Hitler is just... *speechless*
"- I'm in love with the logarithims.
- Oh, Lu, I can't believe it!
- Why? Has my geekness trespassed the limits of normality?
- It has long crossed the line of normality! It's starting to trespass the limits os abnormality!" - Dialog between me and the other Lu, today, at school.
