lu: (Sexual frustration)
Generally, when you're going through a break up, you tend to occupy yourself in order to forget. I can say I did my job pretty well.

Since Friday I have:

-> Re-arranged all my books.
-> Re-arranged my papers and little notes.
-> Seen my friends.
-> Listened to Foo Fighters new CD (kindly given to me by [livejournal.com profile] porn_kid).
-> Tried to Kept on making school-related stuff.
-> Watched Mulholland Dr. (for the second time) and Ghost (for the first time).
-> Sat in bed for hours with Sex and the City.
-> Eaten Häagen-Dazs' ice cream and a lot of chocolate.
-> Drunk a lot of wine.

Of course, I won't say I didn't feel bad. I wasn't well, apart from all of it. But, since Sunday, I believe things got better. Even if just a little.

Ghost (USA, 1990) *** - Not that bad for a sappy, corny, sunday-afternoon-with-the-family movie. Very funny indeed. Whoopi Goldberg owns it. Best character of the film by far.

"- I don't know you! I don't know Sam, but let me tell you what he did to me. He kept me up all night singing 'I'm Henry the Eighth I Am.'
- That's how he got me to go out with him."
- Oda Mae Brown and Molly Jensen, Ghost.

Mulholland Dr. (Frace/USA, 2001) ***** - Finally sort of understood it. Such a good film. Absolutely adore it. Must, must look for theories online.

"Now... did you answer cause you thought that's what I wanted to hear or did you think about what I said and answer cause you truly believe that to be right?" - Cowboy, Mulholland Dr.

I would like to thank every phone call, every hug, every kind word, every visit, every smile, every conversation, every comment, every single one that have helped me and are helping me to get through this. You don't make it different. You are the difference.

The worst is over. Or so I hope. Now I have to move on.

"'Thank you.' 'Thank you.' Is that some kind of rule? - Larry, Closer.

I guess that's personal, dear.
When we broke up, loads of people came to me and said the same thing "you were my favorite fandom couple", and I never realized why. Maybe the point is that you have a light inside yourself and every girl that becames your girl seems to be the happiest girl in the world... ^^'
And they probably feel like it ^^"

Hmmm... you know... she's got a point there. I remember I thought that same way when I knew the L&D couple was no longer a couple... And I guess maybe it's the way you love that makes your relationships became such a beautiful thing. Don't know... just a theory xP

No need to be blushed or run... I said it was just a theory, grams

A theory that I trully believe to be true \o/

You like bowling, don't you, Montag?

If you don't want a man unhappy politically, don't give him two sides to a question to worry him; give him one. Better yet, give him none. If the government is inefficient, topheavy, and tax-mad, better it be all those than that people worry over it. Peace, Montag. Give the people contests they win by remembering the words to more popular songs or the names of state capitals or how much corn Iowa grew last year. Cram them full of noncombustible data, chock them so damned full of 'facts' they feel stuffed, but absolutely 'brilliant' with information. Then they'll feel like they're thinking, they'll get a sense of motion without moving. And they'll be happy, because facts of that sort don't change. Don't give them any slippery stuff like philosophy or sociology to tie things up with. That way lies melancholy.
