Don't ever call me again.

lu: (I couldn't sleep.)
[livejournal.com profile] defexxx's *other* party was great. Mum said he got more celebrations than Price Charles. And I think I agree.

Met his sister, whom I hadn't seen in a while; was introduced to his mother, whom I found absolutely adorable; talked to [livejournal.com profile] dianaprallon and the people from Taquara, whom I missed; saw [livejournal.com profile] porn_kid and [livejournal.com profile] wendybarrie_, whom I see all the time, but I love anyway.

Also had a pathetic weird mental conversation with [livejournal.com profile] christycorr, to which we should have been already used to by now.

Met mum after the party at the shooting for a series she is working at. [livejournal.com profile] deadcinderella joined us for dinner.

We met Lilly (OMG. That's why I always write it with two Ls!) and Max at the mall. Seriously, this city is a hole.

Rented three movies today. Already saw one, and will see the others tomorrow.

Cellular (USA/Germany, 2004) *** - Predictable at its own way, but very amusing. Was anxious and nervous during the whole shebang. The ming-bloggleness of the main character was highly entertaining. *grins*

"Tenth grade biology. Brachial artery... pumps 30 liters of blood a minute. There's only five in the human body. I'm sorry." - Jessica Martin, Cellular, after slashing a kidnapper's arm with a shard of glass.

I swear I fear my Biology teacher very much right now.

Post scriptum: it's past midnight! Happy birthday, mum! \o/

Mochila? Que mochila? Oo

You like bowling, don't you, Montag?

If you don't want a man unhappy politically, don't give him two sides to a question to worry him; give him one. Better yet, give him none. If the government is inefficient, topheavy, and tax-mad, better it be all those than that people worry over it. Peace, Montag. Give the people contests they win by remembering the words to more popular songs or the names of state capitals or how much corn Iowa grew last year. Cram them full of noncombustible data, chock them so damned full of 'facts' they feel stuffed, but absolutely 'brilliant' with information. Then they'll feel like they're thinking, they'll get a sense of motion without moving. And they'll be happy, because facts of that sort don't change. Don't give them any slippery stuff like philosophy or sociology to tie things up with. That way lies melancholy.
