lu: (Homework)
And this morning I've had, yet again, another school crisis:

-> Finish reading Dom Casmurro - ASAP.
-> History of Art essay - 11/08.
-> Physics questions - 11/08.
-> French homework - 11/08.

-> Physics exam - 12/08.
-> History essay on Christianity (that will be equivalent to the full grade of the trimester) - 18/08.
-> English presentation on SDT - 22/08.

-> Geography essay on neo-liberalism - 22/08.
-> Finish Roman Economy theses - 23/08.
-> Prepare self for Capitu's trial (yep, I'm her defence attorney) - 24/08.
-> Literature test - 29/08.
-> Chemistry exam - no idea.
-> Biology exam - no idea.
-> Math exam - 19/08.

*sighs*

I knew I was going to regret not working during vacations (though, even now, I'm still not sure if I do).

I'll be happy if I survive at all (a.k.a. get something better than an eight on everything).

May not be around much.

The Door in the Floor (USA, 2004) *** - It was a good film after all. A bit too American, but I liked it. Nice plot, no big problems. Yep. Good.

"I was just trying to see if could write something that seemed true." - Eddie O'Hare, The Door in the Floor.

"I've just decided to switch our Friday schedule to Monday, which means that the test we take each Friday on what we learned during the week will now take place on Monday before we've learned it. But since today is Tuesday, it doesn't matter in the slightest." - Mr. Turkentine, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.

Off to work on PF. *griins* Good luck with everything. I'll solemny ignore all the work I have to do for tomorrow, because I'll be labouring like a house-elf all weekend.

G'luck to the both of us o/

Can't believe you had that idea now. Thank you very much.

*grins* I will too. Exception of Friday, of course. But, then again, that's not officially weekend.

Yep! o/

I'm really sorry I was not a good friend. I know I wasn't, and I'm still not sure why I couldn't be.

Re: Can I?
You can stay, no problem. o/

You like bowling, don't you, Montag?

If you don't want a man unhappy politically, don't give him two sides to a question to worry him; give him one. Better yet, give him none. If the government is inefficient, topheavy, and tax-mad, better it be all those than that people worry over it. Peace, Montag. Give the people contests they win by remembering the words to more popular songs or the names of state capitals or how much corn Iowa grew last year. Cram them full of noncombustible data, chock them so damned full of 'facts' they feel stuffed, but absolutely 'brilliant' with information. Then they'll feel like they're thinking, they'll get a sense of motion without moving. And they'll be happy, because facts of that sort don't change. Don't give them any slippery stuff like philosophy or sociology to tie things up with. That way lies melancholy.
