God damn it. If it isn't obvious to you people after Italy x Australia that the FIFA bosses will do anything it takes to guarantee that an European country wins this World Cup, I don't know what it takes to convince you people.

Honestly, what the hell was that penalty about? I was so, so, so, so bloody mad.

Argentina, please kick Germany's ass. I'll be cheering for you people like never before. And I mean it.

I feel embarrassed watching them play.

I only watch it now to see whether they're going to lose. The team we've got at the moment are pathetic. Sven should play Theo Walcott more and he should give Lampard a good talking to since he keep messing up. Rooney should be hit over the head and Beckham shouldn't be on for a long time.

I think 1966 was magnificent but if we ever win again it'll be a fluke.

You seem to like using that icon =D

Well, we have to admit you guys aren't in one of your best years, but, hey, who knows? Maybe we'll face each other in the semi-finals. *grins*

Oh, I love that icon. It's addictive especially because it's the first option on my icon list.

You like bowling, don't you, Montag?

If you don't want a man unhappy politically, don't give him two sides to a question to worry him; give him one. Better yet, give him none. If the government is inefficient, topheavy, and tax-mad, better it be all those than that people worry over it. Peace, Montag. Give the people contests they win by remembering the words to more popular songs or the names of state capitals or how much corn Iowa grew last year. Cram them full of noncombustible data, chock them so damned full of 'facts' they feel stuffed, but absolutely 'brilliant' with information. Then they'll feel like they're thinking, they'll get a sense of motion without moving. And they'll be happy, because facts of that sort don't change. Don't give them any slippery stuff like philosophy or sociology to tie things up with. That way lies melancholy.
