Choose a career.

lu: (Choose life)
I've just spent the whole day editing some videos for [livejournal.com profile] christycorr's presentation and... Damn. I love doing this so much I hate it when I'm reminded of the fact.

So then I stop and ask myself: What the fuck am I doing in Law School?

And then I remember that I wouldn't study for real if I majored in cinema.

I'd give so much to know what will happen to me in five years.

You can't major in something cinema like over there?
My friend over here studies film, theatre and tv science. That is roughly translated of course. But basically she studies everything about fim, theatre or tv. If I knew I wanted to do something with that, that study would've been perfect for me as well.

But you don't have that over there?

And awww, well maybe law will be a good foundation for you. I mean, you can still do things in movies and such, but knowing law is always a good foundation for a whole lot of things.

Well, we do have it, but, see... I wouldn't like to major in cinema. The point is... I like studying law. I would like to work with cinema. And, of course, I am a very confused person. *laughs*

Law is an excellent foundation. Thus my choice. =)

"What the fuck am I doing in Law School?"

Have you read the book? There is an amazing quote that says: "All a gun does is focus an explosion in one direction." It's just so brilliant.

The whole movie is a lesson that everyone should learn. It's visual pretties ... but you have to listen too. It's ... sharp (in more than one way).

Really?! O.o

Well, about five months ago, so would I. But now... I don't know. I guess my boyfriend made a revolution inside me. And now all I can think is that thank the Lord I know nothing about the future - it gives me more joy enjoyning the present.

Enjoy your present, sweetie!

C'mon, study's a shit ass.

I really think that you should spent some thoughts on that idea. If your in doubt about what you want to your life. I mean, your making your fate. I wouldn't make my fate in doubt. u.u

Great minds think alike. <3333

You like bowling, don't you, Montag?

If you don't want a man unhappy politically, don't give him two sides to a question to worry him; give him one. Better yet, give him none. If the government is inefficient, topheavy, and tax-mad, better it be all those than that people worry over it. Peace, Montag. Give the people contests they win by remembering the words to more popular songs or the names of state capitals or how much corn Iowa grew last year. Cram them full of noncombustible data, chock them so damned full of 'facts' they feel stuffed, but absolutely 'brilliant' with information. Then they'll feel like they're thinking, they'll get a sense of motion without moving. And they'll be happy, because facts of that sort don't change. Don't give them any slippery stuff like philosophy or sociology to tie things up with. That way lies melancholy.
