Cars.

lu: (Drive away)
So dad has started to illegally teach me how to drive today. In the countryside it's easier, since there isn't much traffic. He said I did pretty well and all. Apparently he's going to give me driving lessons during the time we're here.

February will come, I'll turn eighteen and then I'll be able to get a license! *_*

I didn't know this felt so good.

On a not completely unrelated note, I've finally watched Pixar's Cars and it's so so good. My siblings love it, and I hadn't seen it. Bad, bad big sister.

On a completely unrelated note, I've just finished Pratchett's Light Fantastic. Sometimes I forget how brilliant that guy is.

Eu adoooooooooro dirigir!

Eu mal consigo estudar pras minhas provas, imagina vestibular. x.x Dia 7 é o grande dia, né?

E acho SUPER válido fazermos aula juntas! *_* Mas façamos em fevereiro mesmo, antes das aulas começarem! o/

*yay* for driving. I passed my test in October and the freedom of doing whatever has gone to my head slightly.

If you get your license before I do, I swear I'll throw something. *grins* Just letting you know. (Though my brother said I'm doing well, so that's got to count for something, because he's very hard to please...)

Congratulations on starting to drive!

Mm. I need to see that, too...

*laughs* Took you long enough. Second Pratchett book I read, that one.

*laughs* I thought you already had your license! I swear I don't understand the American system. Chances are I'll get my license late Frebruary, since I'll turn 18 on the 4th. *grins*

Thanks!

Do see it! It's very good.

Well, I've started with Mort, then I read Small Gods. I've just finished (like, last month) Color of Magic, so I'm just that weird. *laughs* I'm now reading In Cold Blood. Did you read it?

Haha, yay for your dad teaching you how to drive! That is pretty pretty awesome. It's not too long before you can actually get your license. And I'm glad to hear you're enjoying it so far! I have my license (for two years now, lol), but I'm still not driving a lot (even though Ihave my own car) and I'm still somewhat scared if I have to go outside my town. So yeah, I hope you keep enjoying it :D

*laughs* I'm still a minor, so technically I can't learn yet. But, I'll be eighteen in less than two months now, so dad decided to teach me. I'm enjoying it all very much. Driving is indeed scary. I'm not driving on the streets yet, just on empty places, nothing big. Can't wait, though. :D

gente, why in english???

You like bowling, don't you, Montag?

If you don't want a man unhappy politically, don't give him two sides to a question to worry him; give him one. Better yet, give him none. If the government is inefficient, topheavy, and tax-mad, better it be all those than that people worry over it. Peace, Montag. Give the people contests they win by remembering the words to more popular songs or the names of state capitals or how much corn Iowa grew last year. Cram them full of noncombustible data, chock them so damned full of 'facts' they feel stuffed, but absolutely 'brilliant' with information. Then they'll feel like they're thinking, they'll get a sense of motion without moving. And they'll be happy, because facts of that sort don't change. Don't give them any slippery stuff like philosophy or sociology to tie things up with. That way lies melancholy.
