Good and bad.

Yes, that's right. All I did was say that everything was going so well that a lot of things fell apart. Yesterday, at dinner time, Isabel (my stepmother) told me that she and my father would travel this weekend. One thing is great: There will be no one home. We can make our Role Model party! \o/ Now... The other thing... Renata is not coming.

Her mother is one of the most paranoid persons I have ever know in my entire existence. And I am not exaggerating. With my father out of town and no one else home, she declined Renata's request to come to São Paulo. Yesterday there was still a chance. This morning, sent me an SMS message telling me it was impossible for her to show up. Unfortunately, she can't even come next weekend, because then I will be the one out of town (probably going to visit my grandparents at Ituverava). She was devastated (and I believe she will be for quite a while). I "talked" a little bit trough SMS messages (I was at physics class). She was saying very stupid things about killing herself and I told her to cut that of.

At the next class (math) it was Killer's turn to send me a SMS message. It said for me to call her as soon as I could. I asked the teacher to leave, and called her. She said she was going to the hospital to have her throat looked at, for it was really sore. She said she was going by herself, I just freaked out. I mean, c'mom. Would you let your girlfriend go to the hospital all by herself when she might need help? So I made up an excuse (I said I had a sore throat, which was true. Yesterday's rain made both of us sick! What wasn't true was the fact that I couldn't watch the classes! XP) and went.

Two buses later I met Kill by her school. We went to a hospital nearby. When we got there, it was kind of full (specially for a private hospital on thursday! oO). We waited. I bought her some hot chocolate and "pão de queijo" (brazilian food made with a different type of bread, cheese, butter and god only knows what else! Very good! ^^).

Once she was called by the nurse, it didn't take long. She came back after 20 minutes with a prescription. She had tonsillitis for the second time in a short while. I believe it happened because she didn't take her medicines properly last time she had it. See why I have to look after this girl?

Anyway... We left the hospital ans since we had not spent a lot of time over there, Killer came home with me. Before we got here, we stopped by "Galeria Ouro Fino" to see if I could maybe taint my hair today (I had scheduled it for friday because I thought the girls were only arriving at 17 p.m.! Apparently, it would be 13 p.m.!). The woman said that they didn't have my color yet (it's a mixture), and they had to order. It would probably arrive at friday afternoon. I decided to make an appointment at saturday noon, before I usually meet the Role Models! \o/

Fencing class was really tiresome. I was already tired from tuesday, and today I trained hard. I don't even want to think about how am I going to wake up tomorrow. Plus, though is not coming, Diana and Defex are, and I have to pick them up at the bus station! XP Oh, yes! My big virtual brother (Luccas) is coming too! I think this is his first time in São Paulo! And I just want to say, that I'm very happy for him!

"It's just a moment, this time will pass" - "Stuck in a Moment You Can't Get Out Of", by U2. This sentence is want sometimes keeps me going. To all my friends that are going by some shitty time (you know who you are), this is for you. I love you, and I'll always be here.

You like bowling, don't you, Montag?

If you don't want a man unhappy politically, don't give him two sides to a question to worry him; give him one. Better yet, give him none. If the government is inefficient, topheavy, and tax-mad, better it be all those than that people worry over it. Peace, Montag. Give the people contests they win by remembering the words to more popular songs or the names of state capitals or how much corn Iowa grew last year. Cram them full of noncombustible data, chock them so damned full of 'facts' they feel stuffed, but absolutely 'brilliant' with information. Then they'll feel like they're thinking, they'll get a sense of motion without moving. And they'll be happy, because facts of that sort don't change. Don't give them any slippery stuff like philosophy or sociology to tie things up with. That way lies melancholy.
