Brasil 0 x 1 France

I am so embarrassed for us. I don't think I have seen Brazil play as bad as that since 98's final. After France scored I don't think I had time to get mad -- I just went straight to the "disappointed" stage. France deserved it. I don't know what the hell happened to us.

This is going to be a difficult karma to break.

I'm sorry, so sorry :(

I was a bit dissapointed with Brazil as well, they didn't play that well, not like they should be able to, like they're able too. I have some opinions as to why that is though, but yeah, I just hope they do better in 4 years. Way better.

Aw. Thanks. =)

Oh, I just felt so sad. Why do you think that is so? We have a lot of theories, too. WIn four years we'll do better, be certain. =)

Well, I think that for one, a lot of the older stars are playing. Like Ronaldo, I mean, he does get the balls in, but other than that, I don't really get why he's playing. And also some others, there are younger and maybe more eager players that could also do really well and bring an extra dimension to the team. And maybe some of the 'stars' are a bit tired from having such a hard season. And sometimes it feels like not all players are really able to blossom in their position. Does that make sense?

And I'm sure you'll do better then as well, I sure hope so, because you really do have a great team and awesome players!

God, I think that fame went up their heads. The least famous players were the better ones in the matches -- which is kind of depressing.

But those were nice points. I do hope we do better on the mext World Cup. =)

You like bowling, don't you, Montag?

If you don't want a man unhappy politically, don't give him two sides to a question to worry him; give him one. Better yet, give him none. If the government is inefficient, topheavy, and tax-mad, better it be all those than that people worry over it. Peace, Montag. Give the people contests they win by remembering the words to more popular songs or the names of state capitals or how much corn Iowa grew last year. Cram them full of noncombustible data, chock them so damned full of 'facts' they feel stuffed, but absolutely 'brilliant' with information. Then they'll feel like they're thinking, they'll get a sense of motion without moving. And they'll be happy, because facts of that sort don't change. Don't give them any slippery stuff like philosophy or sociology to tie things up with. That way lies melancholy.
