Brasil 0 x 1 France

I am so embarrassed for us. I don't think I have seen Brazil play as bad as that since 98's final. After France scored I don't think I had time to get mad -- I just went straight to the "disappointed" stage. France deserved it. I don't know what the hell happened to us.

This is going to be a difficult karma to break.

WTF!?

Yeah... it was a shame. I was waiting for a BATTLE, you know? I like France, really, but I wanted to see Brazil fighting with them, to erase what happened in 98.

Shameful. Tsc. --"

Precisely! I wouldn't be half as bad if we had lost after a good battle. Totally shameful.

I'm sorry, so sorry :(

I was a bit dissapointed with Brazil as well, they didn't play that well, not like they should be able to, like they're able too. I have some opinions as to why that is though, but yeah, I just hope they do better in 4 years. Way better.

Aw. Thanks. =)

Oh, I just felt so sad. Why do you think that is so? We have a lot of theories, too. WIn four years we'll do better, be certain. =)

Well, I think that for one, a lot of the older stars are playing. Like Ronaldo, I mean, he does get the balls in, but other than that, I don't really get why he's playing. And also some others, there are younger and maybe more eager players that could also do really well and bring an extra dimension to the team. And maybe some of the 'stars' are a bit tired from having such a hard season. And sometimes it feels like not all players are really able to blossom in their position. Does that make sense?

And I'm sure you'll do better then as well, I sure hope so, because you really do have a great team and awesome players!

God, I think that fame went up their heads. The least famous players were the better ones in the matches -- which is kind of depressing.

But those were nice points. I do hope we do better on the mext World Cup. =)

You wrote Brasil 1 x 0 France, its Brazil 0 X 1 France.

And, i wouldnt really mind the fact that we lost if it wasnt the tiny little detail we lost for FRANCE.

I have that feeling that they never went there to play. Except a minimum amout of players that actually did something, like Lucio, Cicinho, Zé Roberto and Robinho.

Kaká was totally lost, which surprised me a lot.

And the rest was just sucking more than i thought they could suck. =S

Oh! I think that was my subconcious speaking.

EXACTLY. God, seriously, it could've been any other team. I think I would even prefer Argentina. And it wasn't just that we lost to France. It was the way we lost that game. We didn't even put up a fight.

Yes! Oh, it was shameful.

This is going to be a difficult karma to brake break. =D

France deserved it. Portugal did not.

Brazil and England didn't live up to their potential, but Brazil had a clean fair match, whereas we were playing against a cheating team and a biased referee.
[identity profile] nancy-downs.livejournal.com wrote:
Jul. 2nd, 2006 02:59 pm (UTC)
Oh! God, I don't know why I did that. Thanks.

Oh, I agree. I mean -- what the hell. I wanted England to win so much.

I wish I could at least complain about the referee, or something, but... GOD DAMN IT. That's what enraged me so much.

Because you were upset. I forgive you for such a horrendous mistake =p

Same. But we never get further than the quarter finals, although sometimes we're lucky enough to get to the semis.

I know. Brazil have just had a really bad tournament. Something was wrong and they just couldn't get it together.

Desculpa! Eu devia ter te ligado depois do jogo. ._.

You like bowling, don't you, Montag?

If you don't want a man unhappy politically, don't give him two sides to a question to worry him; give him one. Better yet, give him none. If the government is inefficient, topheavy, and tax-mad, better it be all those than that people worry over it. Peace, Montag. Give the people contests they win by remembering the words to more popular songs or the names of state capitals or how much corn Iowa grew last year. Cram them full of noncombustible data, chock them so damned full of 'facts' they feel stuffed, but absolutely 'brilliant' with information. Then they'll feel like they're thinking, they'll get a sense of motion without moving. And they'll be happy, because facts of that sort don't change. Don't give them any slippery stuff like philosophy or sociology to tie things up with. That way lies melancholy.
